Please, do everybody has a mobile for this, Valve, you know that there's a lot of ways to avoid things like Hijacking and Scamming, also, licenses to trading websites would be a good idea, that's all.

No. Gaben please no. I can see why Valve are doing this but honestly, speaking as a TF2 trader, I don't know how item trading can continue!

I wont be getting a phone in the next 2 years and my parents wont let me verify with our home phone so this will make trading total chaos (for people without phone verification)

Trading has already gotten more annoying with email confirmation. Even though you can disable it, others have it on. Yes, new/young people get scammed. You need to improve your support rather than make trading harder for the majority who know how to avoid scams. It will come to a point when trading is such a hassle that the majority would just give up.

From what I know this is going to be hard to trade.

I seriously do not understand why this is compulsory on everyone. Why can't users choose to opt for secondary authentication like most log-ins to Google or other major websites? Won't that be a better idea? This move is completely unnecessary and ruins a lot of hard work by lot of traders. Why ruin the community?
