I sadly don't see the reason why this update was even conceived at valve. What is the problem that they are trying to solve here? If they think that people are getting hacked and loosing their items, than this is not the best way to go about it. Imagine if someone doesn't have a smartphone, they must wait a week for every trade that they make to go through. What if they are kids and their parents don't let them get the app? What about all of the bots?
This single update adds so much room for error in everyday trading, and would completely destroy trading bots that people have put money, time, and effort into. I find this potential update to be a completely unnecessary layer of confusion and waiting for the general public and professional traders alike. I personally trade very often, and have never been hacked, conned, or felt like a system like this was needed to be put into place, and that is why I strongly disagree with it and hope to shut it down before it begins.

If considered from a profit/loss perspective, Escrow's functionality is easily rendered useless. It says it will provide protection, but the truth is, it will make STeam trading less efficient, more time consuming, and it will render Bots useless. The trading economy will plummet and prices will most likely go sky high due to the effort required to obtain ad trade them. Sites will become irrelevant due to bot functionality problems, and some people without phones will be deeply affected

Plz don't do this valve, I use trade.tf and scrap.tf for most of my trading in TF2 and u would be destroy the players and the owners of the websites :'(

Please do not enable this feature. The web sites that have helped this game grow will no longer be able to function. Educating people to not click on phishing links is what you need to do, not punish people.
