I never plan on upgrading to a smartphone so this is one of the worst things to have happen. There is no reason to add a "waiting period" on Items as the point of trading is a fast delivery. The E-mail conformation was fine as it allowed for secure trades. but, to make every user have a smartphone in order to trade is ridicules.
