Trade holds do NOT prevent scamming, etc. The only thing they're doing is making trading way more of a haste than it needs to be. I for one have stopped trading items because of this "Escrow".

Though I do not trade a lot, Escrow is a huge thorn to our thighs when we want to get a weapon or cosmetic, or just an item

Since I don't have a mobile phone, there's no way I can sign up; I've spent all my money on Steam games and items, I can't afford a phone.

Trading should not be so ridiculously hard. If I want to blow my money on virtual items I shouldn't have to wait 2 years to get or trade them. Just let me throw my money at you in a convenient manner.
