Steam is way too overprotective recently it's crazy. How far do we need to go in security when it comes to trading. If they keep introducing crap like this they will just kill off their own trading system because it is so inconvenient. This just seems like more security theater, it isn't hard to buy a cheap smart phone and link it up to a scram bot or whatever.
Just stop this. None wants this. The majority of traders know how to avoid scammers.

The Escrow system would be very easy to bypass and/or abuse.
At the same time it would ruin trading because many Steam users don't have a smartphone/dont't want to buy a smartphone just to trade with virtual items.
Prices would drop down in an endless hole ruining the economy for e.g. CS:GO skin trading.
As already mentioned in the petition many websites would be going down the drain if nobody would find a way to make bots able to operate a smartphone.
Just PLEASE don't let this even get NEAR to gettimg released!
