some people don't care about the game and only play with the trade !!
and the trade is a BIG part of TF2, DOTA 2, CS:GO, half life 2 deathmatch and portal (just kidding with the 2 last one)

Stop this ridiculous attempt to save braindead traders. This will hurt a large amount of the community, while it will (maybe) if at all, only save a very small part of them. If you get scammed, you obviously weren't paying enough attention to the trade.

We do NOT want the Escrow Update. Here are a few reasons why: 1). It will KILL Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Many other games. 2). So many people will lose their jobs and may not be able to get another one. 3). Riots can possibly happen from the Escrow Update.

i will probably quit steam and try to make everyone else i know quit as well if you take away our basic trading, natural selection will work on those dumb enough to get trade scammed. This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard proposed, aside from steamguard its self- Stupid 7 day waiting thing...

Theirs already an Email verification step people who don't want to be scammed can use; its faster, more secure (since it involves two accounts), and most importantly it only requires a computer and internet connection (which a user would have anyways). As such, this escrow system is made obsolete by an even older system
