just found out this today and look, I gotta wait 7 days now before I can trade my keys that I already waited 7 days to trade -.- I feel that valve is adding too many things for security, and its hindering trading entirely now!

Along with the trade holds it would be really good if they removed the constant necessity to use the steam guard code to login it's really annoying and frustrating they could just alter the app to work like the online steam guard to ask code for just new machines/IPs (locations) of logging in Thank u guys btw I hope there will be changes in the escrow system soon

In my opinion, idea is good generally, but implementation have serious flaws:
1. If you want to see that someone is trying to stole your items, you have to go into inventory menu. Not everybody looks to inventory menu every day. Why not to put this information in some more visible place, for example at the start of steam or at main page?
2. Why only smartphones? And only wih Android and iOS? I think that normal old celluar phones are safer than smartphones, because there are simpler. And almost everyone have celluar phone, unlike in the case of smartphones. Banks use SMSs for authentication, why not to use the same solution in trade?
3. 3 days trade hold looks like rotten compromise. Nobody wants to trade with me becase I don't have smartphone :(. I know that it is hard to do something better, but trade hold can practically remove all person without mobile authentication from trade.
