I don't trade on Steam, but I have a strong feeling that this will lead to collapses of a good deal of the community. It's simple. Don't fix what isn't broken.

I understand this was made with good intentions, but as a past windows phone user, there wasn't a lot of thought put out into the accessibility of this app, and its just making things to complicated. Valve, you're putting too much responsibility onto yourselves for something that should be the players responsibility, they should know how to not be scammed, we don't need someone to bail these people out every time just so they can do it again. I feel we have put too many restrictions on trading throughout the years, there was a much simpler time when it was just a trade box and the "confirm" trade button. In the end, it seems silly, putting extreme restrictions on users to make sure they safely exchange virtual items that have a constantly changing value, all while the scammers find the loopholes so only the innocent are punished.
