Steam Escrow is not any good. It is rather bad than good, its annoying and stops experienced traders from trading. 15 days is unnecessary as well.

a) I just wanted to put a card on the market - for 6 cents. The trade delay would be 15(! fifteen!) days - 3 days, well I could live with that, but 15? This is ridiculous
b) the whole thing is fixing one sec hole with a quite bigger one. Most people have at least a rudimentary knowledge about a computer being a vulnerable thingy. And are totally lost for any measurement of security and/or privacy when it comes to their smartphones...
c) hackers will find a workaround, for them escrow is a fun target for finding holes, while for the fair user it will be at least an annoyance.
d) hackers and crackers will be glad to hack into steam, bc the value is now even higher - think of the many many phone numbers which could be harvested...combined with steam acc data they're plain gold.
e) a smartphoe, even a rooted one, is a living sec hole. I don't use one anymore and if I ever buy one again, I won't use it in connection with an environment so vulnerable as a steam server ^^
