This whole escrow thing is pretty useless, it will do more harm than good, and it REALLY shouldn't be a thing, VALVE YOUR ECONOMY WILL CRUMBLE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT

The only real reason for valve to do this is to try and kill trading. They see all the people on the steam discussion board complaining, but they don't care. And the only real reason to kill trading is for money. With trading being less mainstream due to the new difficulty of trading everyone will go to the only other place where you can get profit from items, and that is the steam marketplace. And for those who sell things on the market know that when someone buys it and you make your money there's actually a tiny of money gone. That's because Valve takes a part of the money used to buy your item and keeps it. This is why they're doing this. Not for your security, not for your items, but for the money. Personally I think this is a greedy selfish thing to do to people, and that it's something we would all expect from EA. Valve shouldn't do this.
