I do not want trading to use escrow, it will ruin trading as we know it. If people don't want to lose items to scammers, they need to be more vigilant.

Valve has been making a lot of bad decisions as of late, like forcing region locking and now this.
Valve has started its march towards anti-consumer practices, and we must now rise to fight them.

This is dumb, why would we have to insert a phone number just for trading. Valve is just making everybody mad. Some people don't have phones, or they are a kid and they don't want to use their parent's phone numbers. People without phones will lose patience and eventually quit steam.
