This idea makes it harder for me to trade and sell items. I understand that they want to protect the users but its too much of a hassle to use to this method. People may not have updated their phone number and when trying to set up steam mobile authenticator, they have no choice but to use their email. But the email does not give the same kinds of rights compared to the authenticator, leaving those without the authenticator at a disadvantage.

The trade hold cripples the ability to trading for certain people and is therefore a major threat to the trade market. This feature needs to be disabled or toggable...
