This feature blatantly discriminates against people who do not own a smart phone, therefore severely crippling the features these people can use that enforce the escrow. It goes so much as to cause the community to become split, making other users discriminate against those who don't use the authenticator, because they don't want to wait 15 days for a trade to complete. They seriously need to rethink this system, because not everyone owns a phone -- a smart phone at that. The Mobile Authenticator should be optional because of this fact, but it seems Valve has decided to go the Google+ route and force their clients to use a feature that they don't want to use, just to eliminate the escrow. It's utterly despicable.

I cancelled ONE single trade because i did not see the trade will be held because of the other guy, and valve just f*cks me with this 7 day trade ban. Where is the logic???

So, I came back from a hiatus and tried cleaning out my backpack. Turns out since I don't have a smartphone that works with steam mobile authenticator, I can't trade with my normals.
I'm really pissed off.

I had to factory reset my phone, and thus reinstall the steam mobile app.
As a trader and skin seller who's majority income comes from trading and selling skins, now have no income for 7 days. So no food and can't pay a single bill.
