Valve just can not seem to kick the addiction of weaseling their way into the peoples pockets in any way that they can find. First paid mods, now this. I just can't wait to see how they're going to make me frustrated next month. This whole "security" BS is just a front to hide the fact that they are bullying the people into giving them more money through the market. Anyone who thinks otherwise can not begin to understand how many different and better ways Valve could go about adding a new security feature without involving phones. First off, phones can be stolen just like e-mail accounts. However, unlike the internet where someone can just ask to steal your account with a fake link, if you lose your phone, you can kiss your stuff goodbye. I am of the sound mind that this is obviously Valve's new scam opportunity for their bank to play with.

VALVe is in the business of destroying the trading community to force anyone that wants items to go through VALVe and pay money for the items. This is the same reason they removed hats from the drop list in TF2, and why you randomly get new crates when you boot up TF2, regardless of play time. VALVe is becoming obsessed with milking their audience for everything they can.
