Coach pullen was my coach for 4years lady basketball. He was a great mentor, educator and coach. He was supportive and very well respected by all. The parents, staff, and students love coach pullen. He has lead both male and female athletes to championships multiple times. He was very driven to help us student athletes become successful. This is a tragic mistake to let coach pullen go. We need more coaches like him. I'm very saddened by this decision. My parents are as well upset with this decision. Peter pullen coached myself and two of my siblings for male and female basketball. My brother Steven white was one who continued his education after Dunbar 2008 and went on to play Football for Texas southern university where he has now received his bachelors degree and is studying for his masters. My older sister Latreece bagley was also coached by peter pullen and continued to further her education after Dunbar c/0 2000 lady basketball and went on the recieve her bachelor degree at Ohio University, then overseas for professional basketball. I myself continued my success as well after Dunbar lady basketball c/o 2003 and received my bachelors degree from Tennessee state university. We are a very small percentage of all the student athletes that coach peter pullen has helped reach their max potential in sports and in life endeavors. God blessed peter pullen with a natural talent and love for our future leaders of America and he has shown to be one of the greatest coaches/leaders of all time.

He was an assistant volleyball coach who installed in us young ladies a need to excel, be disciplined in our sport, and work as a team.
