We need our local businesses as much as they need us to patronize them. Once they are gone they will not be coming back. We will be left with an empty town and Amazon as the only option.

It is small businesses that provide jobs, support our county, our schools, our community organizations. I would deem them essential, and if not, then the citizens of this county & in our state, deserve to see the research that a having a small business, to include outdoor dining has caused people to be infected with COVID, At the same time has there been any studies to show the same, where people gather in an indoor shopping mall, crowded with people? So on the same day, one can eat outside, with all the safety precautions, but can instead go to a shopping mall or a Wal-Mart, Costco, Galleria, Arden Fair mall (that proved to be deadly for the 2 young teenagers who were shot & died,
If our elected choose to shut businesses down, then we citizens, taxpayers who elected you to serve we the people, then demand that you give up your salaries, and want funding halted that is paying into your health care insurance & your enormous pensions.
All should be equal, but no, we live in a State run by a tyrant, who deems that while restaurants, hair salons, gyms, bars, etc. are not essential, but 3 weeks ago issued an edict that those in the television & movie business are essential. Or his financial supporters, the rich & famous.
