In the crouch looking out on the field, or yelling at Sebbie to get him a first down.

So the Walter Camp Gate is not an outdoor memorial? Carm’s humility allowed him to live Yale’s values through his whole life.

This is an absolute no brainier. Recognized as one of great coaches of the 20th Century, with dozens of awards, All-Americans, graduation rate second to none.

Loved listening to Coach on WELI on the way back from Yale football games with my grandfather.

A great way to honor a great man! Come on YALE! Stop all this “politically correct” nonsense about statues and benches and other memorials. This country is becoming crap listening to all these bleeding hearts. Stand up and stop giving in to the pressure!

Yale ‘82 played for Coach Cozza on Ivy Champions in 1979. Coach Cozza deserves this statue and this honor.

There have been lesser people enshrined with a Statute on other college Campuses. CArm Cozza deserves the honor for what he did for Yale Football, Yale University and all the young he groomed to be standouts in their respective communities.

If the point of higher education is to help boys become men, then Coach Cozza deserves as much credit as any person associated with Yale, maybe more. Come ok no Yale administrators, support what is right.

There is a statue of a Hall of Fame Coach Carmen Louis Cozza at Miami University, his alma mater. There should certainly be one at Yale University, where Carm dedicated himself and his teams to personal excellence for 32 years. When asked to name the most impactful professor they encountered at Yale, I have heard more than one teammate say Carm Cozza. I am confident there are more than 1,000 Cozza Men who feel that a statue is warranted.

My brother Jerry died recently. If alive, I am sure he would support a statue for Carm too
