Dear Professor Emir, We are writing to you because the midterm assignment is beyond the scope of our class and quite frankly impossible to complete given the time given. We have had more time to complete our homework assignments and the experiment alone will take hours. We also do not have sufficient class time or office hours to be able to seek guidance. What we propose is that the deadline for this project be extended to April 23rd, the assignment be changed to an extra credit portion worth the extra 5% percent of our grade, and clarifications be given.
