Statement on Education Policy

I have been in the fight against Common Core since 2013. Dr. Peg Luksik is an excellent choice for Secretary of Education. She would be a fierce advocate for children, parents, and teachers. She understands the complex nature of Common Core and the insidious agenda of education reform.

I think you should add: Children are human beings, not cyborgs or lab rats. They should be taught be human teachers, not programed by computers.

This petition entails changes made to a highly flawed system currently in place. Our children deserve better than what is being given to them, and our educators deserve to regain control over their careers and, in most cases, their passion (teaching). Thank you.

I'm a Make Education Great Again mom! Please make Peg Luksik your choice for Secretary of Education. Not only does she understand the dangers of Common Core, she has also never promoted it; but has always worked against the philosophy that has been labeled over and over with "new" names. She understands the philosophy from start finish and can recognize it. Just because they like to change the name like thy like to out lipstick on a pig, it has never and will never fool Peg Luksik! The decision should be an easy one. Hands down! Peg Luksik

I was just elected to represent the citizens of State School Board in District 11 because of these same priniples that Dr. Luksik declares in this petition. It would be amazing if the citizen's voices, in District 11, were heard and listened to in Washington D.C. Thank you to President-elect Donald J. Trump for allowing our voices to come to the table!
