With boundless gratitude and admiration for the teachers, mentors and friends we encountered among the Ursuline community of the College of New Rochelle, and with growing concern regarding Vatican actions relating to the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, we now express to the CNR Ursuline community our unequivocal support for the women who nurtured us during our formative college years. Further, consonant with the vision of the Ursuline community and its founder Angela Merici, and to honor the CNR Ursuline community, we renew our commitment to lives of awareness, compassion, service, joy and integrity.
