I feel a change in how we purchase our first vehicle tags need to be changed. You've seen people driving around with new vehicles and there dealer tag has expired. It's because the TT&L costs so much. A new vehicle can be close to $1000. It's a fee that is sometime not fully known by the buyer of the new vehicle. So they get to drive around for months with expired dealer tags because they can't afford them.
I propose in this petition that it become mandatory in the State Of Oklahoma that when you purchase a new or used vehicle and it's not already tags. That the vehicle registration be included in the purchase. And the tags then are mailed to the driver.when they are ready.
