As a Florida resident most of my life I am thankful we’ve been as free as anyone in the US. However, after this last election I am worried for the future of my children and have heard TX is close to seceding from the United States. If this becomes a reality and Florida doesn’t have any plans to follow suit I will have to leave the state I love and the state I have raised my children in the hopes of a future for them! To say the Republican party has made me feel disgusted would be an understatement! I am an extremely loyal person and believe in freedom and liberty! I have worked in healthcare most of my life and just as I can see light at the end of the tunnel and retirement in a few years I now realize that’s going to be a distant memory if the good people in our government can’t figure out how to out work, out plan and out wit the corruption running our country! I feel the rug has been pulled out from under my feet just as the blindfold was removed from my eyes! I can’t look back now just as I can’t unsee or forget what I’ve learned over the last 10 years realizing everything I thought I knew about law and liberty was incorrect! How did the good people of the country allow this to go on so long and why didn’t everyone who’s not bought & paid for recognize the first person who has the ability to turn it around and support him to their fullest ability? We have an opportunity to have a free state by succeeding from the US and doing it right on our own therefore I am in support of Florida going out on our own.
