Every year we hear of devastating fires in California causing death and destruction. The State of California owns and is responsible for State parkland that is adjacent to our homes in the Tarzana and Woodland Hills area, however, the State has neglected to maintain their property and there is a significant overgrowth of dead brush and trees that threaten nearby homes. This petition demands State of California take immediate steps to remove the thick build of up brush on their land. We can not stand by and let the inevitable forrest fire destroy our homes. It is time for neighbors to come together with a unified voice to demand State representatives to allocate the necessary resources and remove all brush, dead trees, weeds to a distance of 1000 feet from all structures.
