My son comes home in tears before these tests start. He used to love school but now he just says he feels stupid all the time. Stop the madness.

45 days of testing is just ridiculous. Teachers cant even teach because they are too busy prepping kids for bubbles on a computer screen. FIX THIS.

Judging by the ratings American students achieve in relation to other countries, the only thing these tests accomplish is to show how poor our children perform. Maybe we would be better off learning how other countries accomplish their teaching.

Testing is insane. I can spend a few minutes with each student and know more about them and their needs than any test data can give me.

Too much pressure on the kids and not enough actual learning going on. Let the teachers get back to their jobs.

Learning and standardized testing are polar opposites in this climate

I know firsthand how these tests are adversely affecting the students. I have two grandchildren that have to take them. Also, I am angry that the students are told not to talk about the tests with their parents, which is actually telling the kids that it's okay to keep secrets from their parents. These tests should be discontinued immediately.
