Reason I don't want to go to school I

The road that my bus takes when its turning is not safe because it is very steep and amd then it inclines really fast.

Yes, people will have to adjust. Childcare provider, parents, extra curricular activities. But this is the right thing to do for kids in so many ways. We can do it.

This needs to be done for the children. It's too hard in the kids & it was hard in me as a student as well.

PLEASE DO THIS.

A later start time for high schoolers would be beneficial for many reasons.

I am in favor later school start time.

4:00 is too late for elementary kids to be getting of the bus!

I would recommend county officials to re-consider late start time for high school children.

I have been studying the adverse effect of the "early bird" upon high school students for over 25 years now (working as a teacher, guidance counselor, school psychologist, and mental health professional in multiple public school districts, and private schools in 3 different countries). I personally witnessed the negative effects of the sleep deprivation upon high school students' discipline, attendance, and grades. I applaud the people who started this petition and those who signed it already! Bravo!!!

My child startsvhugh school next year and would greatly benefit from the later start time.

i support later start times! it is insane to expect people to get up at 4 and 5 in the morning and be productive! With samller kids in the house it creates insanity!!

I completely agree! I also think that we should consider carefully how we could best change this- I don't believe it would be helpful to simply switch high school and elementary school schedules.
