I grew up in Las Vegas and we had a freshman, JV, an Varsity men’s volleyball team. I had the privilege to go to college because of volleyball, and coach JV men’s volleyball at my high school. The boys were so excited to play and learn the sport. It was a great learning and growing experience for them. When I worked at Grafton Middle School, there were a number of boys who expressed the wish for a men’s team during their volleyball segment in PE. It would be a great addition to the York County Schools.

Surrounding districts have added volley ball. It’s only fair that our students get the same opportunity in high school!
