The legislature has officially approved full funding for community services for Kansans with developmental disabilities. We achieved our objective and the budget reflects our requirement for these vital resources. I will monitor the implementation phase to ensure these funds reach the programs as intended.

The volume of support has now reached a level that allows us to formally request a meeting with the Governor’s office. I am currently drafting the briefing materials to ensure our position is presented clearly during these upcoming discussions.

my brother needs these services to live a normal life. please dont cut the budget.
It is just wrong to take away care from our most vulnerable neighbors. Do the right thing for once.
THESE PEOPLE NEED HELP. STOP IGNORING THE ONES WHO NEED IT MOST.
keep the funding in place. we cant go backwards now.
