The board reached out to confirm that Jason will be reappointed to his position. I still find it hard to believe that our requests actually moved the needle like this. This victory belongs entirely to those of you who stepped up to speak for him.

Stark County Emergency Management Agency Director Jason Musselman was informed by Stark County Board Chairwoman Coleen Magnussen that he will not be appointed to EMA director as of Jan. 1, 2016. Director Musselman has served in the position since Jan. 1, 2013 and served through the flooding of 2013, coordinating over $1 million dollars in aid to the tax payers and municipalities of Stark County. Director Musselman has also incorporated technology and advanced warning systems to ensure the safety of the community and the quick recovery process. Along with countless other behind the scenes tasks and expertise in emergency medical services, fire service and previous emergency management training, we believe Director Musselman is the most qualified candidate for the position and believe he should be reappointed by the Stark County Board for a three year term without a lapse.

Jason Musselman has the full support of my family and myself. Having worked with Jason for the past 3 years, I can testify to what an excellent job he has done on behalf of Stark County. He is the most qualified person to serve as our Emergency Management Director, and he absolutely should be reappointed.
Jason has advanced us with knowledge and technology. He does a superior job. He does it for the good of the county. No politics involved i his intentions.
Jason needs to stay as the EMA director for Stark Co. He works well with all parties and has shown leadership in the county. Let's take some time here and rethink some of these decisions the board is making. Come out and talk to some of the people that he has dealt with and then make your decision.
Jason has done so many wonderful things for this county. He's been a huge help to the Wyoming Lions and making a disaster plan
Jason is the best person to go to in Stark County, if it's with the News, Fire, Emergency Services, Toulon Civic, & so much more! He has helped anytime he is needed from things down at schools, pageants, old settlers, and again so much more to list! It is sad that he is having to do a Petition for a job he does 110%!
Jason is an asset to Stark County! Keep him right where he is as EMS director.
Jason does a lot of work in the community and does a great job as EMA director. It would be terrible to lose him.

Losing Jason Musselman in this position would be a true tragedy for our community especially since its over personal issues of the county chairwoman and has nothing to do with his ability to do his job.
