Whereas: The Stanley Airport has been without a certified
maintenance facility for over 30 years
Whereas: There is an increasing number of pilots in the area and an
increasing number of aircraft being kept at the Stanley
Airport
Whereas: A maintenance facility would service a large surrounding
area including Kenmare, Watford City, New Town,
Parshall, Berthold, Powers Lake, McGregor and Tioga
generating new business activity for the airport and the
city of Stanley
We the undersigned hereby express our support and desire for the
Stanley City Council and the Stanley Airport Authority to work to
continue efforts with the Stanley EDC for the establishment of an
aircraft maintenance and repair facility with certified mechanics at the
Stanley Airport.

This is a great need in any community to keep general aviation alive and thriving ! And charging each hanger owner 20,000 for repairing the runway isn't going to keep airplanes and pilots at your airport either!!
