Standing up for Dr. Nadeem Omar Tarar

I know him personally. A through family man. This absurd and ridiculous allegation is just against his true personality. We as a nation and society are vary rapidity losing our moral values. One side we are against law of blasphemy that it may be misused against any innocent and at the same time we made again such law of women harassment etc ( without thinking that these laws itself can be misused for black mailing in this illiterate society). At the same time we are modern and thinking 1400 years old laws out dated and absurd ( ALLAH muaaf krai) Best solution in such situations is already clearly mentioned in Quran . Both the parties had to take oath in front of court and then wait for the Allah's decision. But who practices Quran ?

I agreed that he was a very good director for education institute. He had a this obstacle faced not only him but every right person here . It means that this society doesn"t like proper, right and professional person.

Nadeem Omar Tarrar not only served NCA Rawalpindi campus for the longest period, he also set up the Department of Archives at NCA, in close association with the Research & Publication Center NCA. These projects strengthened the academic value of NCA which functions more as an art cum vocational institution without the strengths that Nadeem added to the NCA. He completed his research-based PhD in the shortest possible time. As a historian and art and archive specialist, he understands the 21st century art and academic needs far better than any other NCA permanent faculty member (who are mostly incapable of publishing academically, or matching international teaching standards in this regard). I only know him as a decent person.

I agree with petition standing up for Dr.Nadeem. I was a student of NCA Rawalpindi. Dr. Nadeem Tarar was my teacher. I found him an amazing person and a teacher of great knowledge and committment.

Justice must be done

This man made NCAs first daycare. as well as being an amazing boss he was also our teacher

Stop the high school politics and think for the college not your greedy selves! Dr. Tarar put in a lot for the campus and the dramatics and antics against him are pathetic!!!

I know Nadeem Omar Tarar since 2007 when both of us were at SOAS, he as Charles Wallace Fellow Pakistan and I as Charles Wallace India. I found him to be a complete gentleman. After our tenures as Fellows was over, I have been in contact with him and can safely vouchsafe his integrity and sobriety! I hope he comes out of ordeal with flying colours and keep on contributing to his chosen field! I wholeheartedly stand by him in this hour....and hope you do the same and sign this petition

I had the opportunity of interacting with Dr. Tarar when I was director, Lahore Museum. I found him to be a throroughly proffesional and proper person. He is passionate about art, culture, history and heritage. He was always helpful and cooperative and was keen to collaborate with the museum on activities of mutual interest to the museum and to NCA.
