Standardize FCPS II on lines of International Exams

I would like to add that there should be a training schedule to teach procedures and regular teaching by supervisors as per a curriculum so that every FCPS fellow should have a minimum standardized training and expertise.

I would like to add one thing more. Part2 exam should be conducted more frequently, at least 4 times a year, if not theory at least toacs, and cases should be conducted 4times a year. Its very hard to wait for 6months after an unsuccessful attempt. Its just wastage of time for highly mature family and society supporting individuals

I agree with statement. Fcps part 2 shold be standardized according to international exam system which is not the case at present.

It is a need of time to change pattern of fcps exam and follow international examinations like mrcp paces don't have long cases. Fcps is also now emerging as International post graduate degree and we need to follow international exam systems. Moreover it is generally a luck based exam now as to get long cases in exam. Someone with low skills will pass exam easily when he gets easy long case but someone who is a good at skills will fail with difficult case. There should be equal opportunity for all.

Fcps part 2 of medicine is very very on the spot performance and more so examiner dependent,cpsp has not a single consenses of methods neither have any book material which they consider sstanard for medicine ,asked things which even rare for speciality people

Examiners must be given a key to assess a candidate.cpsp passing percentage is 60 percent.it means if a method has 10 steps.candidate has performed 6.he is pass. If examiner asks 10 qs, candidate answers 6 he is pass.kindly give a proper key

Examiners should follow and give each step points as in paces.

They should concentrate on educating examiners...rather then tell candidates what to do...esp that captan sahab....he use to say no examiner is here to fail u...infact all of these examiners were there to fail us...whats point of giving zero mark to any candidate in a tocs station..
