Stand strong for all students. Do not allow a political agenda, fueled by lies and paranoia, to de-fund public education derail a respectful and inclusive policy. FWISD must educate all students based on research and best practices. The guidelines provide a basic structure for all staff. When taken in a professional context, the guidelines make perfect sense. Thank you FWISD!

Dr. Scribner is the educational leader this district has needed for many years. His plan to put vital resources closer to at-risk campuses is the best plan I've heard to address their performance effectively. Seizing on his issuance of operating guidelines for a five-year-old policy is the worst kind of politics -- the kind based on misinformation and disinformation that targets one of the most vulnerable populations. I am a FWISD parent, grandparent, and spouse of a long-service district employee, and I deeply resent the interference of Lt Governor Patrick in the operations of our independent school district.

Have the people who are so against this actually read it? I also think that. to a lot of people, transgender means "man wearing a dress".
