Adding clarification would be OK, but I support the policy and the guidelines. Our kids were at Paschal in 2011 when the policy want implemented and nothing bad happened. What happened was Dan Patrick butting in to our community affairs.

I stand with Superintendent Scribner and support upholding the 2011 policy. Transgender youth are the most vulnerable in the FWISD and they deserve this common sense protection. Thank you.

As a nurse who has cared for transgender adults and children, and as the mother of three sons who attended FWISD,I am grateful Fort Worth has enough insight into the children of its city to select a fair-minded man who truly wants ALL students to succeed.

Greetings Mayor Price! I do believe in the current policy for the transgender policy in place to date June 11,2016 is a safe and effective means of addressing Transgender Youth in the Fort Worth ISD. I support Dr. Kent Scribner in his actions that clarify this policy that was voted on & approved in 2011. I appreciate his efforts along with our Board of Directors to lead an example of proactive measures to keep our children safe and in a healthy environment to learn. Sincerely, Michelle Coronado Arnold

Let's protect the most vulnerable of our children while respecting everyone. These guidelines do just that.

It is the job of adults and the school district to protect the most vulnerable of our children, not to create problems out of whole cloth. This policy is the best way to protect all children.

These well organized blowhards that show up in droves to poke their ignorant and narrow minded opinions down the throats of us who are trying to promote acceptance and teach tolerance in our society are trying to capture their five minutes of fame. They are the same ones who show up at veteran funerals to protest gays in the military. They are ugly, divisive, destructive and WRONG. Please stand up against them and tell them to take their uneducated hatred elsewhere.

Please keep the policy as written. It is sensible and protects children from bullying.

If people would take the time to read the policy they would see it takes into consideration all students and their welfare.
