Since we've had no problems locally it would be good for state or other outside officials to keep their biases and opinions to themselves and butt out of Fort Worth ISD affairs which are being handled in fine fashion by Supt. Scribner.

Superintendant Kent Scribner needs our support. The State of Texas leaders have no clue on how to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Mayor Price, The testimonials from the students themselves were among the best researched, the most considered, and compassionate we heard. The opposition cannot seem to grasp that no one chooses this, anymore than one chooses to be straight. We stand with Scribner, on the right side of history on this issue.

Any child or adult deserves respect and safety, especially from misguided political fear mongering. I definitely support the FWISD guidelines and Supt. Scribner.

Would someone please mandate continuing education about sexual orientation for Dan Patrick?

When these guidelines were passed in 2011 I lived in the FWISD. I supported them then and I support them now. It seems absurd for protesters who couldn't bother to get involved in 2011 to complain now about the situation. They had their chance and sat at home. Fort Worth is an inclusive city that stands up for all of its people. That's one of the things that makes it a great place to live.

I totally support Supt. Scribner. I have not only been moved by the parents of transgenders but also the transgenders who spoke on behalf of those who have suffered and may continue to do so if this is not the accepted practice of all schools in FWISD.

I'm a Fort Worth resident, and a Fort Worth ISD teacher. They make school safe for ALL.

Protecting transgender kids is not a matter of whether or not you accept transgender kids. It is a matter of providing safety for all kids, regardless of what your personal beliefs are.
