We don't want students of Matebeleland to be taught mashonaland history. We want our own history and our heritage to be taught with our language. There is no language that is superior than another.

Matabeleland will not have Shona imposed as a Heritage language but Ndebele and other Mthwakazi languages instead .The Shona language can be taught in Mashonaland as Heritage subject only never in Mthwakazi .
