Started by Hatzala Beit Shemesh 11 years, 6 months ago

For over 10 years, Hatzala Beit Shemesh has been serving the Beit Shemesh community with dedicated care, expedited response times and quality service. Within the last year, we have grown and have been able to provide better service to the community. Because of our unprecedented success and rapid growth over the last few months, Hatzala Beit Shemesh is currently under threat by entities who are jealous of our good work in the community. They have made moves to endanger the existence of Hatzala Beit Shemesh, by harassing our volunteers personally, and putting our operations in jeopardy. They have created a war of attrition against Hatzala Beit Shemesh, and they have created a situation which will cause the cessation of Hatzala Beit Shemesh's operations.

Hatzala Beit Shemesh is critical to the well being of the residents of Beit Shemesh. We have responded to tens of thousands of medical emergencies over the years, and have touched the lives of the majority of people in Beit Shemesh in one way or another, in the most caring and professional manner. We have saved lives, delivered babies, and helped everyone who asked for it - without financial compensation. In fact, we are the only Hatzala organization in the country who provides full service, including both first response and ambulance transportation.

Please sign this petition, which states:
We, the residents of Beit Shemesh, believe that Hatzala Beit Shemesh has the right and obligation to continue to respond to calls, according to their protocols and operating procedures, without any interference from any outside source. We realize that we have a choice - and should we, residents of Beit Shemesh decide to call Hatzala Beit Shemesh, we are entitled to receive their quality care that we have been accustomed to receive without interference from any other parties. We are entitled to be treated with respect, and the minimum number of first responders, to ensure the protection of our privacy - which Hatzala Beit Shemesh provides. By signing this petition, we show our full confidence and support for Hatzala Beit Shemesh.

If not for Hatzala's amazing work, I know many people with life threatening issues that wouldn't have made it to the hospital. In addition, without their speedy response time, I might have had my baby on the road!

I personally was helped numerous times by Hatzala Beit Shemesh. In one wekend we had back to back emergencies where Hatzalah had to take family members to the hospital. It would be a travesty if Hatzalah Beit Shemesh closed down. Barak Saffer

Beit Shemesh needs Hatzala because they do so much good for our community - especially since Terem has limited hours and Beit Shemesh doesn't have a hospital. The residents of Beit Shemesh need both Magan Dovid Avraham and Hatzala to handle all of our emergencies!

It is shameful the way the volunteers of Hatzalah are treated by other entities. I know of an incident where a board certified surgeon who is a volunteer made a call about a patient and he was completely marginalized by the other entity because of this turf war Hatzlacha to the tzadikim of Hatzalah!

Thank you to all of the volunteers for your selfless dedication and life-saving endeavors, of which I have personally benefitted from, along with countless neighbors. Now is the time to pay back the treme, dous chessed and save Hatzala as they have saved us, and so they may continue to do so!
