Let me start by saying.. I HAD NO BLOOD WORK DONE!! WAS NOT ADVISED ID BE AWAKE!! WHEN I LOOKED UP DURING MY TUMMY TUCK THE DOOR WAS OPEN AND HE WAS WALKING PAST!! SO WHO WAS CUTTING ME BEHIND THE BLUE CURTAIN!! LEFT ME WITH A HORRIBLE SCAR.. WOUND SPLIT. AS SOON AS I WENT TO ER IN CHARLOTTE NC, THEY ALREADY KNEW HIS NAME....

He is THE ONLY doctor I would want doing any kind of tummy tuck or liposuction. He knows what he is doing and is very professional

I was unaware of anything regarding. Dr Hamel . I called the clinic 2 days ago to schedule a consult with him regarding a surgery I was finally able to afford as I had discussed with him last year price and recovery time etc. Now it totally makes sense while the prices now listed on the website are extremely higher than Dr. Hamel had quoted. I am not aware of what has been alleged regarding Dr Hamel. I am aware of how he treated me with my previous surgery he was nothing but professional and concerned for me and my well being. He done an amazing job . I am,truly saddened to hear he has steped sway from the practice at this time. Dr,Hamel provided excellent care and seemed to be in practice for a genuine desire to provide quality procedures at a price that people could afford . I certainly hope he is allowed to return soon

Myself and several members of my family as well as friends have received nothing less than excellence from Dr. Hamel. I am so saddened to hear that politics have gotten in the way of things. The malicious intent of those who brought about the complaint resulting in Dr. Hamel's suspension harms not only Dr. Hamel but additionally wrongly affects the patients who love him. I have had one of the most incredible breast augmentation procedures available on the east coast performed by him. My recovery was quick, the surgery successful, and the incision is practically invisible. Adding that I've received nothing less than compliments from other physicians who have performed physicals and exams since. He has not only tremendous talent, but wonderful bedside manner. He is ethical in practice and doesn't overcharge his patients. His fairness put him above the competition. I can personally vouch that I saw Dr. Hamel through each procedure and was easily able to see him immediately and phone him with any questions or issues. He was an excellent trauma physician, and has provided above the standard of medical care in my own personal experience and that of nurses I know who have worked with him. I request that the Medical Board reinstate his license. His patients couldn't be in better hands than with Dr. John Hamel. We miss him.

I went to Dr. Hamel in February. Him along with the attending physician provided me with the best care I could possibly ask for. It's very unfortunate that this is happening, because I been recommending him to my friends and family.

Dr. Hamel, you are GREAT! There has to be some way to get this petition out to your clients. I would have never known this was available until I called to set up a consultation with you. What can we do?

This is rather disheartening and unsettling. Dr. Hamel has performed two plastic surgeries for me and he did an amazing job, both times. I was baffled when I called to schedule a third procedure and learned that he was no longer providing services. This makes me sad and angry.
