As of Friday, September 30th Dr. John Hamel's medical license will be temporarily suspended to practice medicine by the North Carolina Medical Board.
This comes as result of a few disgruntled employees and patients working with Complete Laser Clinic competitors, primarily plastic surgeons seeking to eliminate their competition and our low prices from the market.
His background as an Emergency Physician prior to becoming boarded in Aesthetic Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, Stem Cell Medicine and Bariatric Medicine, but not boarded in Plastic Surgery has been an issue for the Medical Board since 2011. In addition, plastic surgeons would like Complete Laser Clinic out of business since they offer fair prices and increase competition in the market.
We strongly encourage you to show your support for Dr. Hamel and the work Complete Laser Clinic does with him, by signing this petition.
Complete Laser Clinic will continue to offer all of our services under the phenomenal care of Dr. Gariti, Dr. Caudle and Dr. Larson as well as our many other licensed providers. Dr. Hamel will continue to ensure all clinics continue to perform at the high level and exceptional quality our patients have come to expect.

This is rather disheartening and unsettling. Dr. Hamel has performed two plastic surgeries for me and he did an amazing job, both times. I was baffled when I called to schedule a third procedure and learned that he was no longer providing services. This makes me sad and angry.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hamel for 10 years and I have never had an unpleasant result on any of the numerous procedures performed. I have trusted him for 10 years and I will trust him for years to come.
I trust and will continue to use him. It’s the was Medicine should be. No BS, no unnecessary stuff.
Under stress after my surgery with Dr Hamel has scared me for life I did not no he wasn't board certified he informed me he was board certified in Plastic Surgery but it all was a lie please contact me at (980)239-4472
I truly loved the work dr. Hamel did. He was also a very caring doctor at grace. He's performed many procedures that were exactly what I wanted
Dr. Hammel was always an excellent doctor at Grace ER. He always treated my family and I great!
He does amazing work! God will take care of His children!!

I went to Dr. Hamel in February. Him along with the attending physician provided me with the best care I could possibly ask for. It's very unfortunate that this is happening, because I been recommending him to my friends and family.
