The committee should reconsider their decision. If it's on the basis that they were the ony people who could have done something then what about the Dean of Student who knows that this sister universities have been coming here over the years? what security measures did the police take when they realized that the number of students at the place were more than they thought? If it's the issue of the cost apportionment, then they should find a better way than the rustication. If it's for a lesson to be thought, then the previous rustications are enough. This people have been in UCC for more than 54 times, they sometimes enter the ADEHYE but we've not heard of a rape case or sexual harassment, theft case, vandalising properties before. I can even say that the OGUAA hallers rather planned to fight ATL hallers because they feel that ATL hallers always take them for granted and that was why they were jubilating when the riot came down after the police initial intervention. So please they committee should also be neutral I know the Dean of Student and the SRC President are from the OGUAA hall but I know this time your judgement will be the best. Thank you

The student handbook must be amended. Students rights must be stated. We know our right. Fair justice must be served.

Did the school authorities really investigate this matter well before before deciding to take them out of the school. That's not fair at all. Besides, was there any proof that could link each person to the case? I hope something is really done about it.

I petition that the matter be investigated well and the right culprits punished. Also, the innocent students erasticated be reinstated.

I strongly believe the school is not being fair to these students. They are just victims of circumstances. The real culprits are out there. UCC should get serious and fish them out rather than punish these innocent students
