We are pleading with the University of Cape Coast authorities to reinstate the innocent students who recently got Rusticated. Being executives of the Hall and members of the planning committee, we feel the punishment is harsh and unfair for these dedicated ones. Before a clash can happen, it should be between two or more parties and it would be unfair for one Hall to suffer. We urge the student body especially witnesses to also liaise with authorities to bring out the real culprits for the innocent ones to be reinstated. Join the campaign as #WeStandWithATL.

The volume of support for this petition has gained the attention of several campus media outlets. I am currently coordinating times for interviews to ensure the focus remains on the procedural unfairness of the rustication process.

In as much as they are to be penalized as the standing front of the hall week, rustication was too heavy to carry. Majority of them were even asleep during the event yet have been affected.

I strongly believe the school is not being fair to these students. They are just victims of circumstances. The real culprits are out there. UCC should get serious and fish them out rather than punish these innocent students

Please I sincerely think this decision could deter other students from taking up leadership positions in the school which shouldn't be so. Please reconsider your decision we are pleading.

Its unfortunate but the punishment is too harsh, live were nearly lost, punishments are good but rustication will slow up their plan, they are not the ones who actually committed the offence. other halls re being made to pay for the damages, let them do same. thank you!

Being an executive was just to serve. This harsh decision is only giving the notion that no one should get into an executive position. The school should be competent enough to find the culprits than rusticate these executives

I still can't get it, why there was no concrete reasons, why the affected students were not even giving a fair hearing before their suspensions. Am sure the VC, Dean of Students and the entire university security personnel must also be suspended for allowing such thing to have happened within the institution.
