Honorable Governor, Please assist us to get thru this turmoil. SB 16-197 is very crucial for small businesses. Some of the store owners are in their 70 or even 80s, it would be very hard for them to start a new career at this stage. You help would be greatly appreciated by the liquor store community.

Let's strengthen our local economy by supporting the enterprising entrepreneurs who have take the risk to contribute to this great community. Sending corporate profits out of state does nothing for our economy. Supporting local small businesses does!

As a small business owner myself, we carry a higher standard than larger companies, better customer service and help create jobs. By providing grocery stores with the ability to sell alcohol in CO will not only eliminate jobs, it will also eliminate the uniqueness of some of the stores in Denver and the surrounding area. Being able to walk down the road, talk to the local rep at the liquor store you know personally about new craft beers (something CO is known for) is taken away from the citizens of the thriving state. Grocery stores make enough money and pay plenty of taxes, no need for them to sell alcohol as well. Leave it up to the specialists.

The greedy big box stores have forced Colorado to fix something that was not broken.

Thanks, I believe this compromise legislation protects our business from a potential loss at the ballot box this November.

please don't let what other states do influence what we do in Colorado. Independently owned stores in Colorado have been highly successful and provide many jobs in the economy

Please don't allow this to pass, small business owners have to compete enough with the larger business, I do not want to shop in grocery stores where people will be intoxicated and it is not right to sell liquor in food chains.

I support SB197, I own a liquor store that depends on CO government to protect small local business and support the people that work hard daily to make this beautiful productive state what it is. Please don't let big corporations destroy what small business Coloradans have built and worked so hard for.

I agree with the compromise. Colorado has more beverage choices than anywhere in the US because of the independent nature of the retail system.

Please sign SB-197 as a fair compromise between small local businesses and the large grocery chains.
