I use to have him as my teacher. He was a awesome teacher. I hope they don't terminate him!!

That's horrible! Everyone I knew in his class loved it back then. The (now) superintendent was an AP back then too, so I would think he's heard a lot of the same positive responses.

He is a fantastic teacher

Mr. Brazell is a great teacher who raised the bar for kids to excel. Please hear the voices of those who were impacted by this teacher and not the whining of just one disgruntled kid.

In my opinion, guilty or not, the man still deserves his pension at the very least. After reading this petition, I am convinced that he has earned it.

If a kid got a bad grade for being lazy, the teacher shouldn't lose his job for that.

Mr Brazell is one of the best teachers at FPC we all love him and his dedication to the students and tv production he doesn't deserve this at all! What is wrong with this school district my Goodness! And if u got a bad grade maybe you should do your work so you could pass instead of trying to lie to get out of it. In life we fail suck it up and retake the class or do a different elective. No need to ruin someone's career that they worked hard for! this disgusts me!

This man is a prime example of what a teacher should be. Integrity and all if one student was to speak against him know that they shall raise an army against them. He has done nothing but install reassurance and trust into his students on so many levels... to make false accusations is in all reality just like spitting in his face. I would speak publicly on behalf of him any day.

Obviously, Ashley, you are somehow involved. Obviously I can give a finality to my arguments without concrete facts or evidence. I can say that the last time I went to Palm Coast, Ashley said some outrageous things. I have done some very deep investigation and I have facts and proof that Ashley is a bad person. And you know what now Ashley needs to leave Palm Coast. See, Ashley, I can make up things too. Lets talk about facts and I have the power of a simple Google search on the topic. High School administrators are not investigators. They are politicians, thats how they think. Because once you get high enough on the promotion ladder it becomes all about politics and making your constituents happy. In the High School environment your constituents are your students and at an extent their parents. Schools get money for students from the state and federal government. It is far easier to fire a teacher and deny him years of pension and save money that way than to upset a student; possibly lose money because the student transfers, or be threatened by a lawsuit from the parents. At the end of the day its a hearsay. There can be absolutely no proof in such accusations. No paper-trail, no evidence. Any administrator-student interviews are null and void without a neutral third party present. After all, it is too easy to intimidate a kid. Or get the accuser's friends to pile on. As a student I can go and claim that a teacher did something heinous to me. Is it true? It is not. But the teacher's reputation is harmed and possibly ruined. The heat is off of me. It is far easier for an administrator to sweep it under the rug for conducting a kangaroo court than to admit a baseless investigation. And what is the easiest way to sweep it under the rug? Fire the teacher. Yes I deleted your factually void post. This page is to support Mr. B. To show his accusers his good quality and his great character. This is what friendship and royalty is.

My son has been apart of tv production at FPC. For the last 4 years. Mr. B is a good teacher who cares about the program and the Kids. He puts in all sorts of hours for class. No way no how should he be fired for such a small offense. This doesn't seem right to me at all.

MrBrazell is the best

Mr.Brazell has positively impacted every student that has walked through the doors of his classroom, and the guidance he provided me and countless others is of immeasurable value. Anything less than a full reinstatement of him in his position would be unjust.

Four years in Mr. Brazell’s class made me a stronger, well rounded, and prepared individual in more than one aspect. In addition to crafting his art and enjoying it with his students, Mr. Brazell helped you become a better person. A teacher today is expected to hand out grades and bend over backwards to appease the finger pointing parents. Mr. Brazell was honest and genuine, which these days gets misconstrued as insult and belittlement. Many times I was told that I did something wrong in a respectful manner. I corrected myself, moved on, and became better. High school students are supposed to be learning to take responsibility for their actions, but instead are being given more and more ways shift the blame to the hardworking and often vulnerable teachers. As a former teacher of 4 years I have seen the weakness of the high school student when it comes to receiving criticism and overreacting about it. If we continue to bend for the “betterment” of these fragile students and their weak confidence eventually we are going to break and the students will be left with teachers that are too afraid to do what they are passionate about: changing children’s lives. I honestly believe that anything and everything that Carl Brazell does or say is intended to make the other person smarter, stronger, and more successful. Unfortunately, many kids in this generation cannot handle the fact that they aren’t perfect.

I sincerely hope that this school, which I have had experience with in the past with my granddaughter follows the proper protocol and allows a FULL investigation to take place before terminating an outstanding teacher..my granddaughter had him in TV production and praised him as a teacher. She never, ever saw any signs of impropriety in Mr. B's class. Hopefully the police will interview all other students and staff members..there is always TWO sides to every story. Do not destroy this man's life frivolously..investigate the accusers associates as well to determine his/her character. FPC...your administration is questionable on many levels from past experience...do the right thing here.

To terminate and to take away pension........this highschool must have done a very deep investigation and has the facts & proof. I'm sorry but I don;t see how this teacher is blaming a student for lying. Obviously he is not if the termination is to that extent. I am sure the school has to have enough facts or proof. Feel free to delete this as you did the other
