I have spoken directly to Megan's parents. Please read and share. My hearts breaks for this family and I believe justice should be served. You do the crime do the time regardless of who you know, your status in the community or how much money you have.

I don't care who you are; when you take a life due to alcohol, you need to be held accountable! Megan's family and Robbie's family and the children need justice for this awful crime!! My heart goes out to Megan's family and friends!

This guy should not get away with this. Drunk driving is drunk driving no matter what you are operating.

Amazing that a law enforcement officer's assessment that the boat driver was under the influence is being totally disregarded.

I got 6 years for posession of a stolen vehicle surely he should get more than that.

Being a resident of Ogle County, I'm disappointed and ashamed to discover this level of corruption here! Yet, those that are aware of the "defendants" connections were not surprised. Megan and her family deserve justice!!
