Right now, thousands of Turkish citizens are using their democratic rights to protest against the destruction of Gezi park, against the pressure over citizens and media, against the abuse of power of the government, all over Turkey. What people of Turkey stand for in these protests are; a state governed by the rule of law, justice, freedom of thought, freedom of faith, freedom of expression, equality and tolerance to every single citizen not regarding their religion, sex or race. The government, especially the Prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan does not take his nations' concerns and demans seriously. As a result, thousands of people have been injured and even killed in the last few days after brutal interventions by the government police firing water cannon and teargas, using unbalanced force to citizens including doctors and lawyers. Turkish media is under the control of the government, there is no free press to cover this injustice. People is just fed up. Protests all over Turkey keep going and rising but at the same time, police violence is rising too.
