There is an opportunity here to create a legacy that I’m afraid South Africa and France would not have. We have never held an event of this measure . We are a small island but we could host the greatest tournament in World Cup Rugby history if we were given the chance . Forget the money and politics it’s time for a new host!

Defeated every other team in the world, a sporting nation and a country with an 80 million diaspora who will join in and make it the best Rugby World Cup ever

It shouldn't be about the wealth of a nation. The Irish have the biggest hearts, the most passion and, definitely the most craic. All visiting rugby supporters will have a good time.
