We believe that to have a One Ball culture our company must be unified. Unfortunately, this vaccine mandate is extremely divisive. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, we lacked critical information and understanding of the virus, but today that is not the case. As our knowledge of the virus grew, so did the politics surrounding it. We have complied with company policy regarding the pandemic thus far, but without a dialogue this mandate goes against Ball culture. Today, many Ball employees feel oppressed and unable to openly share our thoughts and opinions for fear of retaliation. We are petitioning Ball Aerospace for an open and honest conversation for the betterment of our company and our workforce.

We believe that if we were to not reconcile this company-wide mandate between all employees, that the effects would be devastating and everlasting “for cause due to not following company policy.” Conversely, while the implications of opposing the executive order are admittedly steep, a company who unequivocally stands with its employees will undoubtedly attract additional talent. We are petitioning for Ball Aerospace to stand with its values and its unified workforce.

We believe that the executive order for the COVID-19 vaccination mandate is unconstitutional and authoritarian. We are urging Ball Aerospace to stand with its employees in opposition to it. The President’s executive order ironically serves to be more political pomp and circumstance than a serious gesture towards our health and wellbeing, demonstrated by the fact that natural immunity is not even considered. We oppose the idea that the government wants to squash free thinking in the name of a political agenda. We are petitioning for Ball Aerospace’s support in:

• Fair Treatment

• Bodily autonomy

• Medical Privacy

• Freedom of religion

• Freedom of thought

• Freedom of expression

We believe that this mandate is less about the health of our employees and more about obedience. The Ball Family we care about is not being represented by this policy. Those who sign this petition represent a cross-section of the Ball Family. We love our company, and we love our country. We Know Who We Are.

The Undersigned (vaccinated and unvaccinated, standing together as a family),
