The local council officially approved the plan for patrol officers at our school gates. I am completely overwhelmed by how this turned out and it is truly because of your dedication. Please stay alert as we settle into this new arrangement to keep our children safe.
I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have joined this effort to keep our kids safe. If we can reach the two hundred and fifty mark today it will show the authorities just how many people are watching this situation closely.

It's a sad world we live in that our children can not walk to school without fear of being attacked/abducted. Something seriously needs to be done. These weirdo's are getting away with it. Having 2 children it is frightening to let them out. Kids cannot just be kids anymore without adult supervision. Sad times we live in.

What aren't the police doing more? Why are some schools not even informing the parents? We have kids at local schools and found about this second hand.
Very very poor?

Safety of children should be paramount. As parents you trust that our children are safe in school but with all the recent occurrences I don't want my two out of my sight.

We need a deterrent at the schools, like PCSOs or actual police officers. Financial restraints, may prevent the police being at the schools, but maybe more teachers should be visable at the school gates as well.
