I believe the actions of Mr Brown are not simply a matter for him and his family, but are instead a reflection of unprofessional use of Auckland ratepayers' time and money. I believe that the right thing for him to have done would have been to stand down from his position immediately after these revelations. He's no Rob Ford but he's not exactly the person we thought we were voting for either.

If Len truly respects the values he espouses and honestly wants the best for Auckland and the ratepayers he will stand down now and let the Council get on with business. I am appalled that my ever escalating rates are being used to pay Len whilst he contemplates his future - it is not that hard - resign! If, Len, as you believe we all want you to stay on there will be a new petition to vote you back in !!!!

How can you be honest with Aucklanders when you have not been faithful to your own wife and family. You are a shame and disgrace to our city. You are a hypocrite to push for intensification, when you live in a $1.2 million 6970 sq m property with a pool, a mansion and a small forest. Do you expect the rest of us to live in crammed three-story shacks surrounded by rail tracks ?! If you take away Aucklands/new Zealand's greenery and environment we have nothing left; new zeland has no other proper industries. You sir a just a puppet for rich developers and foreign governments. You politicians in the council are the epitome of white colour corruption. If you want to not leave as a disgraced imbecile, I suggest you make the right and ethical decision by resigning from your position as Lord Mayor, and instead we can put in charge a ethical mayor who holds the interests of everyday citizens of this city, instead of fat cat foreigners, politicians and developers. BE ASHAMED!

He was falsely elected without the knowledge of his shocking behaviour, lies and deceitfulness. He knew all this before the elections but chose to keep it hidden. Lock him up for spending tax payers money fraudulently.
