That's typical of the government to take away something that is working. I hope they realize that early child care is very important and this is one area that needs to stay in place.

vous ne voulez pas qu'on fasse garder nos enfants dans des garderie privée et maitenant vous faites pour que nos garderie ferme ou que les frais monte et que l'un des deux parents reste a la maison parce que sa va couter plus cher de frais de garde que notre paie. Je ne comprend pas vous voulez augmenter la population mais vous faites des belles singeries pour que le monde est pas d'enfants ou juste 1 parce qu'ils ne pourront pas subvenir au besoin de leurs enfants. J'aimerais bien comprendre vos coupures mais la je comprend rien du tout.

Early childhood education is the building blocks of our future. Without funding you are taking away our rights to a future. Let's help parents be parents and kids be kids by helping daycares exist not shutting them down.

I am so disappointed, sad, mad. These precious gems (our children) are so rarely respected. They can't defend themselves by requesting the best possible learning opportunities and developmentally appropriate environments from their government. The parents will be forced to turn to unlicensed childcare because of increasing prices. Early detection whether it be developmental or physical will be missed and our children will suffer all their life because of it. "Babysitters" will be making way more money than a skilled, certified and experienced Early Childhood Educator and the government will loose many dollars in taxes. That is only a small part of my thoughts on this matter, but I think you get the picture.

My child is in daycare since she was 2, I'm a full time nursing student and I also work part time to pay for daycare. Because my husbands makes "just enough money", we never got approved for any subvention from the government. well that's not true they said we got approved for a dollar a day ....like I stop working now and focus on school right? NOT! Now you wanna cut it even more?? Our province cannot afford to lose this system that already needs greater help then it can receive. Don't cut the budget!!!!

If the government does not take back this planed decrease of funds to daycares we will find illegal centres operating. We do not need this in our province of New Brunswick!! Mr. Gallant and MPs get out of the dark ages!!

Educators in NB have been the lowest paid in years, when you think of the importance of a preschool educator in regards to our children. They should be very well paid and resources should be unlimited. All children in daycare's spend more waking hours in the run of a day with the educator. I worked in early childhood for 20 years and know this to be true and a fact. NB Educators, Parents and children...MAKE A STAND IN SOLIDARITY for our rights!!

this is going to impact more then the daycare owners.. Now with the cuts the daycare's won't have a choice to put their prices up and most of the parents won't be able to afford daycare charges ... So they might turn to daycares that aren't lisenced ... Families that want to immigrate to NB might think twice do to the price increase in child care

I work with children who have special needs, they need me in their life. But I can't be in theirs if I am not being paid a fair livable wage. Don't let this be the first step in all of us loosing out on these benefits. Sign this and save a profession from a major downfall.

I find it ridiculous. We already pay to much as it is. No wonder that the family sizes are getting smaller. It costs to much for daycare when your family is getting bigger even with both parents working. It's a mortgage payment every month. If you think about it, the work force of the future is shrinking. At least if we would have lesser costs for daycare maybe it would increase the number of family members and also the work force down the road.

This is absolutely absurd they must be going to keep that money for extra expenses that benefit all the government people in their personal lives
