For far too long blokes who showed talent on a footy field were not held accountable for their behaviour off the field. This needs to stop now, and the only way, is by having natural consequences to their bahaviour. At the moment its little more than a slap on the wrist.

Totally agree with this. How dare my ticket fees support scum who beat up women and kids?

This petition and subsequent action is well overdue. Domestic violence amongst players has to stop before more are hurt and/or killed.

Whole heartedly support this petition. The NRLs unspoken support for those who commit any form of violence against women is a hypocritical embarrassment. Take a tough stance against D.V. offenders and make our game something to be proud of.

Excellent cause and well spoken. If you ever hit or threaten to physically harm a woman or child you don't deserve to call yourself a man

End the easy ride, and quick comebacks that violent offenders get. Kick them out of the game for good, and it might initiate change.

the game embarrassed itself when it allowed Robert Lui back. On more than one occasion he harmed his partner. last time she was pregnant. It reduced the NRL's stance against domestic violence and it's support of White Ribbon to mere lip service.

These guys need to learn they can't hit a woman and continue playing a sport that provides them with a comfortable lifestyle they clearly don't deserve

Thank you for making a stand. It's shameful that a stand on domestic violence is even required, let's hope this is the NRL's nadir and they finally make positive and meaningful steps to stamp this out forever.
Could not agree more. Rub out these grubs.
